About Recruitment Details
The Ministry of External Affairs invites applications for one contractual Consultant (Legal) position in its Eurasia Division, New Delhi, for an initial period of one year, extendable subject to requirements and performance. Responsibilities include coordinating court cases, handling notices and summons, drafting affidavits and replies, liaising with government law officers, and tracking court proceedings. Knowledge of international legal affairs and diplomatic processes is desirable.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian nationals with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and at least 5 years of legal experience, including 5 years’ experience in court-case processes. Maximum age: 45 years. Retired Government of India employees with a legal background must be below 63 years and meet the prescribed pay-level criteria. Knowledge of international law, diplomatic procedures, computer operations, and social media communication is required.
