About Recruitment Details

NITI Aayog offers an unpaid internship throughout the year to students from recognised Indian and foreign universities. Interns get exposure to government functioning, policy research, development issues, data analysis, and report preparation across different divisions.

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate students: Completed/appeared in 2nd year or 4th semester with at least 85% marks in Class 12.

Postgraduate/Research students: Completed/appeared in 1st year or 2nd semester with at least 70% marks in Graduation.
Graduates/PG students awaiting higher studies may also apply with at least 70% aggregate marks.

Required Documents

Academic Marksheets, College/Institution NOC, Updated CV/Resume, and Original Documents for Verification.

Application Procedure

Applications are accepted online from the 1st to the 10th of every month. Candidates can apply up to 6 months in advance but at least 2 months before the desired internship month. Only one application per financial year is permitted.
