About CUET-PG Admission Form 2024

CUET-PG Admission Form 2024 has been introduced for admission into various PG Programmes in Central and State Universities/ Institutions and participating Deemed/ Private Universities/ Institutions for academic session 2024-25. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas, and help establish better connections with the Universities. A single examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various participating Universities/ Institutions.

MODE OF EXAMINATION

CUET (PG) 2024 will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode only.

MEDIUM OF QUESTION PAPERS

The medium of the Question Paper for CUET (PG) 2024 will be English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for languages, M. Tech Higher Sciences, and Acharya papers (except Hindu Studies, Buddha Dharshan, and Indian Knowledge System.  Please note that for the correctness of the questions in all the question papers, the English version will be taken as final except in language and Sahitya papers.

STRUCTURE OF QUESTION PAPERS

Structure of Examination for CUET (PG) – 2024

  • The candidate can choose a maximum of four question paper codes. The list is mentioned below.
  • There would be no General Test with each paper.
  • The candidate can choose a General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers would be in English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during registration.
  • The duration of the Exam would be 105 Minutes.
  • The Question paper will have 75 Questions.
  • Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Languages papers will be in the concerned language except Linguistic which would be in English.
  • M.Tech/Higher Sciences would be in English only.
  • Acharya Papers would be in Sanskrit except for Hindu Studies, the Indian Knowledge System, and Buddha Darshan.
  • Humanities, Sciences, and Common papers would be bilingual (English & and Hindi).
  • The examination will be conducted in three shifts.
  • The English version of the questions in the question papers except languages and Acharya, will be taken as final.
  • The syllabus for the question paper codes will be available on the website.

AGE LIMIT

For appearing in the CUET (PG) 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the bachelor’s degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in the CUET (PG) 2024 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University in which they are desirous of taking admission.
